The Lester Bentley Committee of the Two Rivers Historical Society unveiled recent acquisitions, Friday, May 31, 2013. Lester Bentley (1908-1972) a Two Rivers native built a body of work in Two Rivers and New York City. A career that peaked with the portrait of Dwight D. Eisenhower. In recognizing Bentley, the committee’s mission is to “Bring Bentley Home.” The collection is on display at the Lester Public Library, Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
